Beefed up scare film about what could happen if 22 million African killer bees crossed the border into the United States. Bee-proof costumes were designed for shots using live bees. (texto oficial do distribuidor)

One of my favourite films of this genre. One scene in particular with Henry Fonda sticks in my mind. And Michael Caine is, as always, flawless. Just like Jerry Goldsmith. ()
The American film The Swarm clearly needs to shorten its runtime to make it more bearable, but more importantly it needs to take itself less seriously. After all, this is supposed to be a B-movie to entertain people, not try to convince them that all this could be true. Of course, a normal person wouldn't believe that. There's not much to believe in, really, but the way the film takes itself too seriously hurts it immensely. ()
