Andrew Hewitt

Andrew Hewitt is a BAFTA-nominated composer whose features include The Double, Bill, The Sea, Submarine, The Brass Teapot, and Cuckoo. He trained classically from childhood as a pianist and singer, and as a choral performer toured and recorded regularly worldwide in the UK's most prestigious ensembles. He graduated from Cambridge University and, after a performance career which included performing in such film scores as Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, he moved into scoring a number of television series and documentaries, before concentrating on features. Hewitt orchestrates and conducts all of his film scores, and fuses them with electronic aspects at his home studio.
