Born in Hannover (Germany) in 1982, Nele Wohlatz studies scenography at the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe and cinema at the Laboratorio de Cine at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires. In 2016, she is invited to attend the Doc Station of the Berlinale Talents. She directs several short films and videos for theater plays and is also a film lecturer. In 2013, her first full-length film Ricardo Bär (co-directed by Gerardo Naumann) premières at the BAFICI and receives an award at the FIDMarseille.
