René Villarreal

René U. Villarreal studied Communications in Monterrey (1978) and Semiotics in Paris (1983), and Film Direction at the American Film Institute (1986). He has worked as first assistant director in more than 30 feature films. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Mexican Filmmakers Union.
