Humberto Solás

Emblematic figure of of the Third World Cinema. He debuted in the 60s becoming one of the founders of the New Latin American Cinema; where he filmed Lucía, which is considered by the critics as one of the ten most important films in the history of Ibero-American cinema. A Successful Man, the first cuban film to be up for an Oscars nomination.
