She is a director and photographer. She has an MFA in Film and Video from CalArts – California Institute of the Arts, and a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design. In 2018 she was granted a Guggenheim scholarship in Film and Video. Her 16 mm films have won awards and were shown at different international festivals. Territory (2016), her first feature, premiered as part of the Official Selection of the FIDMarseille Festival and screened at important festivals such as FICValdivia, Viennale and BAFICI, among others. Her works combine experimental film traditions with documentary practices, and are developed from an improvisation process.
