Roberto F. Canuto

Roberto F. Canuto is a filmmaker from Asturias, Spain, graduated in Audiovisual Communications from Complutense University (Madrid). He started his collaborating with Xu Xiaoxi in 2008, in a Master of Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy of Universal Studios in Los Angeles. Among their awarded films, the American productions: Toto Forever and the feature Desire Street, the Chinese productions Ni Jing: Thou Shalt Not Steal, Floating Melon and Sunken Plum. In Spain they co-directed the also awarded short Advent. Founders of the production company Almost Red Prod, they work currently between Spain and China.
