Jaime Marques Olarreaga has worked as a screenwriter in Adiós tiburón, directed by Carlos Suárez, Noche de reyes, by Miguel Bardem and La caverna produced by Eduard Cortés. The script for the short movie X y Z won the Granada Festival Award. He has directed Abierto, El paraíso perdido, a short film which was nominated for the Goya awards, and La carta, a short film that has won awards in international festivals (Uppsala, Melbourne, Alcalá de Henares, Imagen-Madrid, among others). His stories Milagro en el suburbio and Perfecto won prizes in the NH and Morón de la Frontera contests. No es nieve has been published in La razón.
