John le Carré

Master storyteller John le Carré is the author of 23 books. His books have featured on best-seller lists around the world in each of the last six decades. John le Carré first came to know Hamburg during the Cold War years of the early 1960s, when he was posted there as Political Consul while working for the British government, and returned there to research and write A Most Wanted Man. Eight of his novels have been adapted for film, including Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Constant Gardener, The Russia House and The Spy Who Came In From The Cold.
