Shane Daly

Shane Daly is a prolific cameraman with numerous credits and awards to his name. After completing a degree in photographic arts, Shane went on to study with Technicolor and Kodak to master the art of the camera, and later shot his first feature in 2000. He then worked with director Stuart Urban on the film 'Revelation' starring Terence Stamp, and also with Simon Fellows on the short film 'Jump,' starring Andy Serkis and Sanjeev Bhaskar. In 2001 he won the BBC's Best New Talent award for his work on 'The Librarian's Dream.' Shane worked as 'A' Cam operator on 'Red Light Runners' starring Michael Madsen, Harvey Keitel and Cillian Murphy, and as DOP on 'Alpha Male', directed by Dan Wilde and starring Danny Huston, Jennifer Ehle, Amelia Warner and Trudie Styler.
In 2003, Shane worked on the controversial advert 'Seal' for the soft drink Tango, which later went on to win a Cannes Gold Lion and a BTAA Bronze. With commercial credits too numerous to recount, Shane has worked on adverts for Nike, The Sunday Telegraph, VH1, Kelloggs, The Ministry of Sound, Toyota, Carlsberg, Smirnoff, Nestle and the Discovery Channel.
