Biografia

He studied Fine Arts at Nantes (Erban) between 1997 and 2001. Between 2002-2012, he presided the Fundación 30 km/s, devoted to supporting projects of young artists, with special focus on artists’ books. In 2004 he created Ando liado s.l.u to produce his first documentary: Apaga y vámonos (Lights Out and Off We Go) by Manel Mayol. In 2005, he participated in over 60 international festivals and was awarded 6 prizes. From 2007 to 2008, he co-produced the documentary, L’Encerclement. La Démocratie dans les rets du néolibéralisme (A Vicious Circle: Democracy in the Fro of Neoliberalism) with Les Films du Passeur, directed by Richard Brouillette (Montreal) that won the prize for Best Film in Nyon (sic) 2009 and Yamagata Documentary FF. He also participated in the Berlinale Forum 2009. Later, he co-produced the first full feature film of Tayo Cortés, La casa, that won the Silver Dove in Leipzig and a special mention from the jury of DokFest in Munich.

In 2010, he produced and co-directed the short Último verano with Christian Fuma, an audiovisual essay on the deterioration of the Spanish coast. In 2010, he also produced the work, Devonian Levels by the visual artist Fleur Noguera, filmed in s8 mm. which was exhibited in the Galerie Dohyang Lee in Paris, in the PSM Gallery, Berlin and in Arco in Madrid 2012. He continued along these lines with the co-production in 2011 of Hortus Harare (16mm) by the artist, Andreas Wutz which was shown in the Centre de la Imatge Virreina in expo 1979 and in the IDFF in Jihlava (Czech Rep. ) among others. He produced Yorgos as of 2011, filmed on Easter Island and codirected by Paco Toledo and José Domingo, first shown at the FIC Gijón in 2014. As of 2013, he has directed the Zumzeig cinema in the Barri de Sants, Barcelona. This is a new cinema house which is an attempt to give a breath of life to independent film. With Guillaume Mariès and Mireia Canals he exhibits and distributes films that have won awards in festivals and are commonly known as “difficult”.
