Artur Correia

Artur Correia (1932) is a prominent Portuguese illustrator, animator and director. He graduated in graphics from the Castro art school in Lisbon. He's worked on the creation of comics for magazines as well as animation productions. From his filmography we'll mention, e.g., the short films Grain of Corn (O Grao de Milho, 1979), Mystery of the Serpent in the Garden (O Mistério da Serpente no Jardim, 1982), Christmas! Christmas! (É Natal! É Natal!, 1989) and The Catrineta Ship (A Nau Catrineta, 2012).
