Serhiy, um cirurgião ucraniano, é capturado pelas forças militares russas na zona de conflito no leste da Ucrânia e, durante esse cativeiro, é exposto a situações terríveis de humilhação, violência e indiferença. Imagine writing a story for a 30-minute film and then turning it into a feature film. That's exactly the case with this film. The subject matter is poignant, at times brutal, at times emotional. The static camera imaginatively puts you in the action of the film, which works great, but is tremendously boring. If I were to remove or cut unnecessary scenes from the film that do nothing to move the plot forward, the film would be 1/3 of the way through. Anyway, this is a fairly hilarious realistic film that shows the war again from a different perspective.
