Women Do Cry

Trailer

Conteúdos(1)

Several women from one family are confronted with hardship and trauma which typically stem from the way they are treated by men and, in turn, by the whole of society. Whether it’s a case of having to deal with the stigma of HIV or suicidal thoughts on maternity leave, Vesela Kazakova, together with Mina Mileva and the entire collective, offers an explosive drama as a searing indictment of patriarchal values and their impact on the lives of women in contemporary Bulgaria. português Um drama que quer ser choramingas, sobre o sofrimento de todas as mulheres boas causado apenas por homens maus. Apesar da unilateralidade e histeria, é um espectáculo suportável, em cujo núcleo central funciona relativamente bem a química mútua entre os membros centrais duma família búlgara, apoiada em bons desempenhos das atrizes. inglês A more apt title would be "Women Suffer" because all the female characters in this film really only suffer. Instead of an intense statement about the complicated position of women in Eastern Europe (as complicated it undoubtedly is), it is a screaming hysteria in which there is not a single (at the very least) neutral male character. From a purely cinematic point of view, it's quite watchable, but the one-sided perspective brings the overall result down a lot. 45% [KVIFF 2021] ()
