There's No Place Like Home is an eerie gothic tale based on a true story. When Leonora wants to move away from home, her parents disown her for being abnormal. 10 years later, her mother is dying and her father pressures Leonora to come back home. Back home her father gaslights Leonora to believe she is sick and only he can take care of her. The gaslighting becomes real when Leonora enters her father’s imagination that she cannot escape – not until she does what her mother could never do. (The Norwegian International Film Festival)
