Martyr

This very dismal film with biographical elements uses minimalist imagery to tell the story of a man whose life has been significantly influenced by his excessive fixation on his mother. Another crucial and unfortunate role in his life was played by his rivalry with his younger sister. Unhealthy relations within the family plunge the young man into darkness from which there is no escape. Even in total darkness, he is haunted by his sister’s hate. (Anifilm)
