An acted documentary about one of the most famous military leaders in history, Hannibal Barca. As a supplement to history education, it is a decent film, although it features, of course, a significant simplification of events, and flattening of the character, and the production is on the level of TV entertainment. Squeezing the destinies of one military leader and the Second Punic War into a satisfying 90-minute runtime is, understandably, a huge challenge. Overall impression: 55%.
