Uma família desmembrada por força de pequenos segredos que se tornam em enormes mentiras tenta desesperadamente permanecer unida e recusa-se a aceitar a Verdade. Para evitar fazer face a pesadas provas e responsabilidades, eles escolhem ignorar a Verdade, e recusam ver, ouvir ou falar sobre ela, como na fábula dos Três Macacos. A story involving possibly all of the most hackneyed artsy topics imaginable. A handful of each and everything, but nothing is full on. The opening, dragged-out, sepia colored opening shot of a person falling asleep foreshadowed what the movie would be like. How unintentionally fitting. Three Monkeys isn’t really so bad. I just find it fascinating that somebody actually felt the need to shoot SUCH a worn-out and long-winded movie.
