For me, Red Hill is a film which doesn't deny its Australian origin. The pace of the story isn't frantic, on the contrary, the creators took their time, which I don’t think was a good thing. Such a strategy would be okay in a western, but it’s kind of disappointing in a thriller. It's not an amazing film, but I certainly don’t think it was a waste of time. Slightly above average.
