Former US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, head of CIA counterintelligence Tennent Bagley, Oleg Gordievsky (a former mole within the KGB), and Russian dissident Vladimir Bukovsky offer a different view of the events following 1989, which definitely did not bring an end to communist ideology and mentality.
