I bumped up my rating for the third episode. While another death is credited to Inspector Campbell and his team, there was some action at the races. I'm hoping the action will pick up in the next episodes.

The long monologue passages do not feel sterile and stiff after some time; on the contrary, they form the basis for subsequent decisive shifts and steps forward. There’s a lot of talk, but with a lot of gusto, with Billy Kimber taking the imaginary crown.
