At the Queens request, Ciel and the demon butler Sebastian host an extravagant dinner party for the who's who of the London underground. Proof that the statement of music at the end of Book of Circus had a purpose; the transformation from circus performers to murders suits Ciel and Sebastian even more. There are the unforgettable interactions with individual servants, acrobatic tricks that make the audience gasp, and the mysterious aspect that perfectly heightens all expectations, even though the point becomes clear at a certain moment and it is surprisingly subtly suggested by the script. Kuroshitsuji still (and now perhaps even more) remains one of my favorite anime universes, which I keep returning to with even greater pleasure, even though its complete ending has long been told.
