Fargo

If you liked the film, you may enjoy the series adaptation. Cold days in Minnesota have their charms. But each season so far seems to be solitary and each story has its pluses and minuses. Absolutely great is Season 2 with Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons. The first and third are worth your time, it's just with the fourth that I'm hesitant to even make it to the end. (14/10/2015)

Season 2 and the gorgeous Kirsten Dunst are exactly what I desire. It has the 1970s and clever split screen work, it’s delicious, it works, it’s interesting, and all the ingredients are perfectly measured. I love and am blissful about Kirsten's return to the small screen. The drama escalates, and the mafia families go up against local police... will random eyewitnesses have the upper hand? The finale was excellent. Privately, I'm glad there was an opportunity for Kirsten and Jesse Plemons to meet, if only because she needed to start a family more than anything else. (08/01/2019)

The latest Fargo series is the most unpleasant experience yet. The double role for McGregor is one of his biggest challenges, and David Thewlis made me (as he has so many times) physically sick. So thanks for those gifts of pulp fiction outside the eternal ice plains of Minnesota. (01/09/2019)
