This year, the Spaniards have turned to crime/action instead of mystery thrillers, and even this approach suits them. The story is not very original, though, the classic someone owes money to a mobster and has no way to pay it back, so the gorillas go after him. Toro, the main character, is properly tough and knows how to fight, Luis Tosar is a well known Spanish star but he didn't have much room here. The film features mostly car chases until a showdown with knives and a shootout with a shotgun at the very end, but it's nice to watch, it’s well paced and has a decent level of suspense. 75%
