In the Shadow of the Copacabana

The elections in Rio de Janeiro are drawing near. Walking among the sunbathing tourists on the beach with a megaphone is Ricardo Gama, a blogger and activist who fights against corruption and dirty politics. One year ago, he was shot in the head by a policeman during a demonstration and miraculously survived. Now we watch his efforts to influence urban policy and affect change. But in the carnival-like election campaign waged by his well-funded opponents, who are capable of the greatest hypocrisy, can he compete with only a computer and an old megaphone?
