Azadi

Azadi tells the story of an Afghani family who fled their strife-torn homeland to find a safer life but once they reached Australia seeking asylum they were not recognised by the authorities as genuine refugees. Following Australian law, they were detained and imprisoned in the South Australian desert at Woomera. (Adelaide Film Festival)
