The Guys Next Door

Not many people actually have a "normal" family life, do they? But some people's families are even more unique than others. In the documentary THE GUYS NEXT DOOR, Erik and Sandro are a gay couple whose friend Rachel is the surrogate for their two daughters. Rachel is a married woman in her forties, with a husband and three children. Together they form a quite unusual extended family. Spanning over three years, the film explores the struggles and possibilities that creating a family brings. And at the end of the day, those challenges are what makes them like any family.
