Léo anda à procura de lobos numa grande planície de Lozère, quando encontra uma pastora, Marie. Alguns meses mais tarde, têm um filho. Com depressão pós-natal e sem ter qualquer confiança em Léo, que vai e volta sem dar cavaco, Marie abandona pai e filho. Léo dá por si com um bebé nos braços. É complicado, mas no fundo ele gosta. Durante esse período, não trabalha, e aos poucos e poucos cai na miséria. A degradação social que atira-o para as planícies de Lozère e para o lobo. (Alambique Filmes)

With all due respect to the extraordinary power and provocativeness of some scenes, this strangely meandering, semi-symbolic film about fatherhood, loneliness and the creative crisis falls apart in Giraudie's hands. A few days after the screening, discomfort prevails, albeit I will carry the scenes of euthanasia through anal sex and the powerful conclusion with me for a very long time. The French are exaggerating things this year with their degenerative line of their own identity. [Cannes 2016]
