Die Stadt der Millionen

An unjustly forgotten gem of (not exclusively) German cinema. The film captures one day in Berlin and was made two years before Ruttmann’s opus. Its style focuses on experimenting with film image and avoids the artistic aspirations related to rhythm. (Summer Film School)
