Asleep at the Wheel

Found material shot in the 1960s on car trips is manipulated using methods typical of the era's avant-garde: chemical and physical alterations of the light-sensitive emulsion, combined with scratching and painting on the film image, evoke the wild sense of passing sensations and ideas in the wide-open landscape.
