A hospice. The last moments of a life. A Life from Death is a cinematic essay about everyday life with death. About the bird song in the silence. The hospice personnel tell us about their work and their everyday life. Some residents ask the staff to share the last journey with them. Some say “Oh fuck” as their last words. Life is not morbid nor is it noble. A Life from Death is both poetic and observant. At the end of life death is no stranger.
