Déva

In the city of Deva in Transylvania, where Romania borders with Hungary, lies an orphanage for children between ages 3 and 22. Most of them belong to the Romani people. The teenager Kató is an albino. Her eyes scare the others and she is called a witch. One day she plugs the hairdryer into the wall socket, which causes the shoddy electrical system to fail and the house is invaded by electricians. Even the volunteer worker Bogi comes to help out. Kató takes a liking to him, but since she realizes their relationship cannot last longer than his temporary position, she decides to take things into her own hands. (Göteborg Film Festival)
