Blanchisserie de France

In his store in Nice, François patiently irons a shirt. His gestures are slow but confident. His store seems to wear its history on its walls. In white capital letters it announces that it is BLANCHISSERIE DE FRANCE. Inside, well-worn machines and faded wall paintings evoke a long gone era. And it won't be long until François himself, now 89, puts an end to a daily routine that has lasted for 45 years. But for now, there are clothes to wash and iron. And François has a story to tell.
