Um filme animado, cruamente engraçado e cheio de ação que está destinado a tornar-se num clássico. Numa área baixa de Istambul, Rifki, a gaivota, e Riza, o rato, estão a preparar-se para aquela que é a maior de todas as festas, organizada por Shero, um gato de sangue quente. Essa noite boémia acaba num caos. Shero defronta a maior encruzilhada do destino, entre a morte de um dos seus amigos felinos e a chegada inesperada do seu filho ilegítmo. O protagonista da animação enfrenta a paternalidade, derrota o lunático enlouquecido e ainda tem que ter tempo para se apaixonar antes que as nove vidas acabem. (Lanterna de Pedra)

It’s truly surprising that the Turks have filmed something so rude, vulgar, creepy and drunk. What’s more, it’s about a good-for-nothing cat who talks more than he does anything else. Just like that, the entire movie stars with a death of two cats. Really, it isn’t for kids, which is apparent from the very beginning. I truly don’t know what to think. On one hand, I’m fascinated that the Turks are trying to lean towards the Western culture, which I can only approve. On the other hand, it wasn’t really all that funny. But I have to admit that the story, environments and animations were definitely way better than the American counterpart Sausage Party.
