Conteúdos(1)

This visual allegory of desperation and longing from director Takashi Miike chronicles the adventure of a Japanese businessman sent on a trip to a Chinese village where he discovers a girl with a haunting voice and a secret that allows men to fly. Environmentalism, human value and the perception of wealth are among the themes explored in this soul-searching drama. (texto oficial do distribuidor)

inglês I am surprised myself how bored I was. The entire poetry of the village, nephrites, the river, singing, and wings didn't work on me at all, and the final twist of one of the key characters seemed forced to me. However, Director Miike is a fox, and with the final monologue and last shot that I wanted to see, he earns five minutes to twelve points, so the rating is closer to two and a half. ()
