When a mad scientist builds a machine capable of "matter transfer", his plans to debut the magical invention on live television are thwarted by an earthquake that results in the scientist, a handyman and a sexy TV reporter being catapulted into a parallel universe ruled by medieval warlords and over-run with dangerous characters.
