For a Czech production, this is a very precise piece of filmmaking, nothing to be ashamed of internationally. The creators did an excellent job both in technical execution and in telling a story with a very original and well-developed idea. From the script, through the visuals, to the acting performances, everything is carefully thought out and executed. Thanks and keep it up!

I don't know! The film didn't particularly impress me and unfortunately, it didn't stand out in any significant way. The plot unfolded at a slow and unnecessarily drawn-out pace, which significantly detracted from its dynamics and overall appeal. Despite the creators' apparent effort to faithfully reflect the personality of the main character, the film lacked the necessary depth that would allow the viewer to relate more to the protagonist and experience their story. The tension, which should have been a key element, was missing, and despite some attempts to build dramatic moments, these efforts remained somewhat unfinished. Overall, I guess the story with the large pack of dogs just didn't seem very realistic to me.

This is a real success for German Netflix. The film stands out with its conceptual originality and surprisingly good quality of execution. The script brings an innovative idea that, in the context of contemporary commercial society where many strive for quick and easy wealth, feels quite realistic and relevant. Given the current boom in artificial intelligence and the expansion of technical fields, the film raises important questions about possible scenarios for the development of human future.

An action-packed opening that invites a rough travel adventure. I enjoy films where the main characters explore unknown environments, especially when the lead is Jake Gyllenhaal, who knows how to deliver a punch. The tension and action scenes are great and entertaining. However, as soon as Conor McGregor appears, the film goes off the rails and takes a turn crazy similar to Fast & Furious. What a shame!

If you are patient enough and enjoy unconventional content, I recommend it.

The atmosphere is simply stunning! The quietly drifting sand, the sound of the wind, and the view of the orange sky create an incredibly suggestive environment. Besides the beautiful visuals and one of the most impressive soundtracks of the last decade, I highly appreciate the film's slow and thoughtful dialogue progression. Recently, it seems like films generally try to quickly fill their viewers' dopamine deficit, but Denis Villeneuve is in no rush. He gives ample time for a full immersion into another world. It's paradoxical that the film still has an intense pace; it's action-packed, dramatic, and romantic, while being entirely universal and artistic in its originality. Villeneuve once again proves his mastery in building atmosphere and depth.

A prosaic epic of a great artistic soul. Leonard Bernstein is a legend of classical music, and Bradley Cooper knows how to make the most of his roles. This is no exception. Despite the uniqueness of the story, the historical backdrop, the perfect acting performances, the authentic period atmosphere, and the quality execution, the story was a bit poorly structured and perhaps too complicated. Sometimes, there is strength in simplicity!

Eddie Murphy is great, but this is not how I envisioned his grand return to the big screen. A silly, unoriginal Christmas story that is merely a showcase of human madness and bizarre absurdity. Apart from the lights, it has nothing to do with Christmas at all.
