Zeynep Dadak

Zeynep Dadak (1978) and Merve Kayan (1981) are Turkish screenwriters and directors. Dadak graduated in film studies from New York University, where she is currently completing her doctorate studies while also working as a publicist for the leading Turkish film magazine Altyazı. Kayan graduated in film studies in the USA from Denison University, then in visual arts from a California university. She is the author of several video installations and also works in film editing and cinematography. Together they've made the documentary On the Coast (Bu sahilde, 2010), short musical Elope (2010), and drama Blue Wave (Mavi Dalga, 2013), which is their feature debut.
