Timothy Olyphant

With an expansive list of diverse film and television credits, Emmy Award nominated Timothy Olyphant is known for his poignant roles in both dramas and comedies. He is the star of the critically acclaimed FX series "Justified," based on Elmore Leonard's short story Fire in the Hole. Olyphant plays US Marshal Raylan Givens, a modern day 19th century-style lawman, for which he earned an Emmy nomination as Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2011.

Olyphant also recurred as a guest star on the seventh (2010-2011) season of NBC's hit comedy series "The Office," playing a rival paper salesman and ex-boyfriend of Pam's, who steals clients from Dunder Mifflin.

In 2011, Olyphant was seen in DJ Caruso's adaption of James Frey's novel I Am Number Four, alongside Alex Pettyfer, and voiced the role of "The Spirit of the West" in the animated film "Rango," for director Gore Verbinski.

In 2009, he starred as the town sheriff in Breck Eisner's remake of the horror classic "The Crazies," and in Gary Yates' independent feature comedy "High Life," which won Best Canadian Feature at the 2009 Calgary International Film Festival. Also in 2009, Olyphant played the lead in David Twohy's action-adventure thriller "A Perfect Getaway."

In June 2007, Olyphant starred as villain Thomas Gabriel, opposite Bruce Willis, in director Len Wiseman's "Live Free or Die Hard." He followed this performance in November with the role of Agent 47, a genetically engineered elite assassin, in "Hitman."

In 2004, Olyphant starred with Elisha Cuthbert and Emile Hirsch in "The Girl Next Door." Olyphant brilliantly portrayed Kelly, the porn producer and ex-boyfriend of Cuthbert's character, who tries to convince her to come back to the business. He also starred with Sarah Polley and Katie Holmes in Doug Liman's "GO," as Todd, as a double-crossed drug dealer.

Olyphant's film credits include the independent "Meet Bill," the romantic comedy "Catch and Release," the adaptation of Stephen King's bestselling novel, Dreamcatcher, as well as "Rock Star," "Gone In 60 Seconds," "A Man Apart," "Scream 2," and "A Life Less Ordinary."

Olyphant also enjoyed a prominent arc on FX's award winning series "Damages," and guest appearances on popular shows such as FX's "The League" and "Archer," NBC's "My Name Is Earl," ABC's "Samantha Who?" and HBO's "Sex and The City." He first garnered critical notice for his powerful portrayal of the tough, honorable, natural born-leader, Seth Bullock, in HBO's "Deadwood." The groundbreaking series was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild for Best Ensemble in its third season.
