Sophie GOYETTE (Canada) is a writer and maker of five short films awarded in competition at the Sundance, Locarno and TIFF Toronto festivals. Her film La ronde (2011) which premiered at Locarno, won six prizes at festivals along with the Best Short Fiction Award at the Rendez-vous du Cinéma Québécois. Her short Le futur proche (2012) won the National Award for its world premiere along with five other festival awards, and was selected for the International Competition at the 2013 Sundance Festival. Still Night, Still Light (2016) is her first feature film.
