Sherri Shepherd

Whether on stage or screen, Daytime Emmy ® Award-winner Sherri Shepherd 's magnetic personality and hila rious sense of humor never fail to delight audiences.

As one of the co-hosts on ‘The View," she was a part of groundbreaking history in August 2009, when the Daytime Emmy ® for Outstanding Talk Show Host was awarded to the multiple talk show hosts of "The View." That same year the co-hosts were chosen as one of the "100 Most Influential People in the World" by Time , while Forbes ranked "The View" #11 among "30 of the Most Influential Women in Media."

Sherri, in addition to daytime, has been a memorable player in primetime for years. She is a frequent guest star on the Emmy ® A ward-winning series "30 Rock " as ‘Angie Jordan,' the wife of Tracy Morgan 's character. She was the Executive Producer and star of her own sitcom "Sherri " on Lifetime and has made laugh out loud appearances in "Less than Perfect, " "Everybody Loves Raymond , " "Joan of Arcadia , " "Suddenly Susan " and "The Jamie Foxx Show. "

Sherri has appeared in such feature films as the award-winning film "Precious" based on the novel Push by Sapphire as well as "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa , " "Guess Who, " "Who's Your Caddy, " "Beauty Shop " and "Cellular." She is the author of a humorous autobiography, "Permission Slips: Every Woman's Guide to Giving Yourself a Break " (Grand Central Publishing) and has also had a successful run in the critically-acclaimed, off-Broadway hit, "Love, Loss and What I Wore."

Sherri is a celebrity spokesperson for March of Dimes and helped it kick off the 2010 "March for Babies" by ringing the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange. She was also the national spokesperson for the YAI National Institute.
