Biografia

Born in Burbank, California and raised near Salt Lake City, Utah, Jacob Buster has been exposed to the entertainment industry from a very young age. As the son of a director and a casting director, Buster was always aware of acting, but it wasn’t until his mother cast him in a local Utah film at the age of seven that he fell in love with the process on set. Once Buster discovered how much he enjoyed transforming himself into different characters, he was hooked on actin and decided to see where the journey would take him. His first role came in Heaven Under a Table, where he played a young boy who loses his astronaut father after a failed shuttle mission.

As he entered his teenage years, Buster sought out projects that challenged him to tap into his emotions. His breakout role came when he was cast as Charlie Bowman in the hit USA series Colony, alongside Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies. His other television credits include The Thundermans, Suits where he played the young version of Patrick J. Adams’ character, Mike Ross, and a guest role on Ballers. Buster has also appeared in various Hallmark projects such as Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday, Sister Swap: Christmas in the City, as well as Christmas Wonderland. Buster is continuing to showcase his talent on the small screen. He can be seen starring in Showtime’s horror series Let The Right One In. The show explores human frailty, strength and compassion through an elevated genre lens. Buster plays Peter, the brother of Grace Gummer’s character Claire.

He has also made a name for himself in the indie film world. In Christmas for a Dollar, he played Norman Kamp, a nine-year-old boy being raised by his single father after the passing of his mother during the Great Depression. The role earned him a “Best Actor under 18 Award; at the Filmed in Utah Awards and further solidified his decision to pursue acting as a career. Since he chose to follow this path, things haven’t slowed down for Buster. He can be seen in the film Aliens Abducted My Parents and Now I Feel Kinda Left Out, which was an official 2023 Sundance Selection. Other film credits include Saturday’s Warrior, Miracle Maker, The Christmas Dragon, No Ordinary Shepherd, Lost Boy, Just Let Go and The Christmas Project just to name a few.
