Danny Trejo

DANNY TREJO appeared in Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's "Grind House," which led to the 2010 spin-off film "Machete," starring Trejo as an ex-federale anti-hero with a gift for wielding a blade. He reprised his role in the "Spy Kids" film, and appeared opposite Adrian Brody in "Predators." He was also seen in "The Muppets."

Among his numerous other theatrical credits are the Rob Zombie films "Halloween" and "The Devil's Rejects," Rodriguez's "Once Upon a Time in Mexico," the "From Dusk 'Til Dawn" films, "Con Air," "Heat" and "Desperado."

His many television credits include a recurring voice role on "King of the Hill" and voicing the character of Batman's nemesis, Bane, on Cartoon Network's "Young Justice," "Breaking Bad," and "Sons of Anarchy" and "Franklin and Bash."

Trejo grew up on the streets of Los Angeles, spending the latter part of his youth and early adulthood incarcerated. Upon his release, he became involved in counseling programs to help others with addictions.

While counseling, he was offered a role as a convict in "Runaway Train."
In addition to still serving as an intervention counselor, he is as a devoted father of three.
