Bella Thorne

Bella Thorne star of the hit Disney Channel original series "Shake It Up," sky-rocketed to fame with her tween/teen fans playing aspiring dancer Cece Jones. "Shake It Up" originally premiered with 6.2 million viewers.

More recently, she starred in the feature films "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," "Big Sky," opposite Kyra Sedgwick," and "Home Invasion." She also signed a three book deal with Random House titled Autumn Falls, with the first book scheduled for late 2014, and was named the new Candie's girl, following in the footsteps of Britney Spears, Carly Rae Jepsen, Vanessa Hudgens and Lea Michele.

The triple threat also expanded her talent in the music arena with her first solo single, "TTYLXOX," which was included on the "Shake It Up" soundtrack and not only made the Billboard 100 but has sold over 300,000 copies to date. She has been topping the charts at Radio Disney with "Bubblegum Boy," and collaborated with IM5 on the single "Can't Stay Away."

Thorne was the spokesperson for the Staples and Dosomething.org Campaign for the recent back to school season and shared her story on how she overcame dyslexia in Disney Channel's "The Time I...(Dyslexia)," nominated for a 2012 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Special Class, Short Format Daytime Program. She was also nominated Favorite TV Actress by the 2012 ALMA Awards and won a 2013 IMAGEN Award for Best Young Actress/Television.

A Florida native, Thorne began her career in the world of modeling. She has been a spokesperson for Texas Instruments, the face of major brands and designers such as Ralph Lauren, H&M, Guess, Limited's Justice, GAP, and Aldo, and has graced covers of many national and international catalogs while appearing in over 60 commercials worldwide. Danimals added her to their successful commercial campaign.

On television, she has had starring roles on such hit series as HBO's "Big Love," NBC's "My Own Worst Enemy," "Dirty, Sexy Money" and "In the Motherhood." Her additional feature film credits include psychological thriller "Forget Me Not" and, in January 2012, Thorne and her "Shake It Up" co-star Zendaya Coleman starred in the Disney Channel movie of the week "Frenemies," which premiered with 4.7 million viewers.

Thorne has worked diligently to overcome personal tragedies such as the loss of her father in a vehicular accident in 2007 and, shortly after, the passing of her grandmother. She has also overcome dyslexia, which caused her to be bullied at school, and is the Global Ambassador for StompOutBullying, a cause that is near and dear to her heart. She additionally enjoys lending her name to many children's charities.
