Clare Sera met with Ivan Menchell as writers on a feature project for Universal. They both come from performance backgrounds, Menchell from stand-up comedy, and Sera from improv and theme park gigs.
Before writing together, Sera had written and developed a range of feature projects for production companies and studios including Universal, DreamWorks and Paramount.
As a team they have written several feature comedies, including "Blended," and "Daddy's Girls." More recently, they wrote an adaptation of the French film "Disco."
