After the death of his wife, Zdeněk lives alone near the forest. The family rarely visit him and his only companion is his dog, Carrie. An announced visit infuses new energy into his veins, and Zdeněk prepares his modest room for the arrival of his family. However, a short phone call explains that they’re not coming, again - they are too busy. This poignant short film talks about loneliness of our eldest relatives. (Finále Plzeň)
