Evil has sprouted in Comet Valley and it's taken on the form of some bad tempered creatures: Meet Shooter, Tumbler and Sailor, the bloodthirsty new plant inhabitants of this peace-loving town. And they've got a fiendish plan to pollinate and rule the world... Enter Tom Bains, a state geologist, who's been sent to Comet Valley to investigate a possible meteorite landing from many years earlier. It appears that parts of the meteorite have suddenly been springing up everywhere and they are having a strange effect on the people who find them. One citizen seems to have discovered the truth: he's Doc Roller, a botanist, who has been researching one of the meteorite fragments he found. It seems the fragment is actually an alien seed that, when germinated, grows at an incredible speed and the plant's sole purpose is to reproduce. When the plant pollinates a human being, an alien consciousness is transferred into the body taking over the human mind, thus creating the seed creature.
