Matka v trapu

In the genre classification of Runaway Mum includes drama, but I would take the "comedy" label with a pinch of salt, as the film is built more on dramatic moments in interpersonal relationships and there is very little humour. A life crisis, a marital crisis, a partner crisis, a family crisis and, as a result, a bit of an audience crisis. The message of the film is clear and straightforward, yet it is handled in such a bland and futile manner and does not attempt to add any value within the genre. At the same time, some of the characters (the kids and the husband) were really annoying. (21/06/2024)
