Zomervacht

Brian (13) and his uncaring father Maurice live in a trailer. The care institution offers Maurice a financial fee to take care of Brian’s mentally disabled brother Lucien, 17, for money. Brian, initially fearful of Lucien, finds comfort in visits with Selma, a girl from the institution. After the death of Lucien’s roommate, Brian takes better care of Lucien, seeing him improve. When Maurice's debts put them in danger, Brian must make a tough choice for their safety. (Zlín Film Festival)
