Takács Klári, nicknamed Bimbi, is out on a job hunt. She chances upon a letter of recom-mendation, written by an under-secretary of state and addressed to the person who rented the room previously and has since been taken to a mental hospital. Bimbi uses the letter to get a job in Tormássy Works. Thanks to the content of that letter, it is believed that she is "a little crazy", but still has to be given full support. Bereft of all tasks, Bimbi takes on a job as a typist in the country to help the director general's son, himself suffering from boredom. Péter is a freak, which arouses the girl's interest, promising his father to try to do all she can to make the young man return to Budapest. After a few misunderstandings, Péter and Bimbi eventually get married, with the subsequent blessings of Péter's father. (texto oficial do distribuidor)
